Job Overview

Omdurman Teaching Hospital is hiring experienced Registered Nurses to join its multidisciplinary healthcare team in Omdurman. Nurses will provide comprehensive patient care, assist in medical procedures, and support hospital operations in a professional and ethical manner.

The role requires clinical expertise, excellent communication, and strong teamwork to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and medical treatment plans.

Administer medications, injections, and IV therapies.

Assist physicians in diagnostics, surgical procedures, and clinical interventions.

Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

Implement infection control and hospital safety protocols.

Educate patients and families on healthcare management and disease prevention.

Participate in emergency care, trauma response, and critical care.

Collaborate with healthcare teams for care planning and coordination.

Mentor junior nurses and provide clinical supervision.

Uphold professional ethics and confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing

Registration with the Sudan Nursing Council

3–5 years clinical experience in hospital settings

Knowledge of patient care standards, clinical procedures, and ethical practice

Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Flexibility for shift work, nights, and weekends

Annual Salary: Approximately SDG 48,000 – SDG 72,000 per year
