, I am writing to express my strong interest in applying. I believe my educational background and extensive professional experience align well with the job requirements. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development and bring over 20 years of progressive experience in agricultural planning, management, training, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, and emergency response at the national level.

I am highly motivated to join your organization, as this opportunity would allow me to continue contributing to agricultural development and food security—fields I have been dedicated to since 1996. My work has focused on supporting vulnerable populations in fragile contexts, including Blue Nile State and West Darfur (Geneina) during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have consistently provided technical support to strengthen agricultural systems and improve food security outcomes.

Throughout my career, I have led the design, planning, coordination, implementation, reporting, and evaluation of agricultural programs. I served with World Vision as a Food Security and Livelihood Officer, where I supported farmer groups through the provision of seeds, tools, training, restocking, and the establishment of Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA). I also worked with Triangle Génération Humanitaire (TGH) as a Food Security and Livelihood Supervisor during the pandemic.

My experience includes capacity building for women’s vegetable farms, cereal and vegetable propagators, and pastoralist communities through pasture restoration. I have conducted market price monitoring and rainfall data tracking, and actively participated in multiple WFP assessments in Blue Nile State. Most recently, I worked in Kerenik Locality (West Darfur), Genena Locality, and Um Dukhun (Central Darfur), and I joined Mercy Corps in River Nile State (Atbara Office) from  5 December 2024/ until June 30, 2026
