Job Overview

Honeywell Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Maintenance Engineer to join its team in Wad Madani, Sudan. This role is critical to maintaining and repairing aircraft systems, ensuring operational safety, and supporting the company’s mission to deliver world-class aviation services. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems, including engines, avionics, and structural components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using technical manuals and diagnostic tools.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Sudan Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
  • Document maintenance activities, repair logs, and safety reports in accordance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with pilots, technicians, and engineers to coordinate aircraft servicing and modifications.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize aircraft downtime.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including hydraulics, fuel systems, and navigation equipment.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Additional certifications in aviation safety or technical training programs are preferred.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in aviation maintenance or aerospace engineering.
  • Experience working in a commercial or military aviation environment is an advantage.

Salary

1,500,000 – 2,500,000 Sudanese Pounds (SSP) per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
