Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth analysis of existing energy policies, regulations, and incentives in Sudan.
• Develop policy briefs, white papers, and strategic recommendations to promote renewable energy deployment.
• Engage with government ministries, regulatory bodies, and private sector stakeholders to facilitate policy dialogue.
• Monitor international renewable energy trends, best practices, and financing mechanisms.
• Support the design and implementation of pilot projects that demonstrate policy effectiveness.

• Contribute to capacity‑building workshops and training sessions for policymakers.

Education

Experience

Minimum of five years of professional experience in renewable energy policy analysis, government advisory roles, or international development projects focused on energy transition. Experience working in Sudan or the broader Horn of Africa region is preferred.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 150,000 to SSP 250,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary is paid monthly and includes statutory benefits as per Sudanese labor regulations.
