Job Overview
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will play a pivotal role in directing the medical strategy and clinical quality for our operations in the region. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement medical strategies aligned with humanitarian principles and organizational goals.
- Supervise and mentor senior medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and clinical excellence.
- Oversee epidemiological surveillance and respond to disease outbreaks within the region.
- Manage medical supply chains and ensure the availability of essential medicines and equipment.
- Coordinate with local health authorities and other NGOs to ensure integrated medical responses.
- Monitor and evaluate medical programs to ensure they meet international standards of care.
Required Skills
- Advanced clinical decision-making and medical management skills.
- Strong leadership and ability to manage multidisciplinary medical teams.
- Expertise in public health management and epidemiological analysis.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is highly preferred.

Education
Candidates must possess a recognized Medical Degree (MD or MBBS) from an accredited institution. Post-graduate specialization in Public Health, Tropical Medicine, or a relevant clinical field is highly desirable. Advanced training in humanitarian medical management is a significant advantage.
Experience
A minimum of 10 years of clinical experience is required, with at least 5 years in a senior medical leadership or management role. Previous experience working in humanitarian settings or developing countries is essential. Proven track record in managing large-scale medical programs and diverse teams is mandatory.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 1,200,000 SSP to 1,800,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience and specific qualifications. This is a competitive package designed to attract top-tier medical leadership.
