Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead complex design and analysis tasks for large-scale infrastructure projects in the Kassala region. This role is critical to ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and longevity of our construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the design of steel and concrete structures, ensuring compliance with international standards and local building codes. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design and analysis of complex infrastructure components using advanced computational tools.
- Perform detailed calculations for steel, reinforced concrete, and timber structures.
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and material procurement lists.
- Collaborate with geotechnical and civil engineers to ensure foundation stability and site integration.
- Conduct site inspections to verify that construction aligns with approved structural designs and safety protocols.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and design technicians.
- Ensure all designs adhere to international safety standards and local regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Expertise in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro.
- In-depth knowledge of Eurocodes, ACI, and AISC standards.
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities.

- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
Education
A minimum of a Master of Science in Structural Engineering or a related Civil Engineering discipline is required. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and significant specialized postgraduate certification will also be considered.
Experience
A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in structural design and analysis within the large-scale construction or infrastructure sector is mandatory. Proven experience in managing complex projects in developing regions is highly desirable.
Salary
