Job Overview

The Oil & Gas Contracts Analyst will play a pivotal role in drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial agreements related to exploration, production, and downstream activities. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate oil and gas contracts, including joint venture agreements, service contracts, and supply agreements.
• Ensure contractual compliance with Sudanese law, international regulations, and TotalEnergies’ internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to assess contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain a centralized contract repository and monitor key milestones, deliverables, and renewal dates.
• Provide contractual advice and support to project managers during the execution phase.
• Prepare regular reports on contract performance, obligations, and financial impacts for senior management.
• Assist in the development of standard contract templates and best‑practice guidelines.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a solid understanding of oil and gas commercial terms.
• Excellent knowledge of Sudanese commercial law and international contract standards.
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Education

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications in contract management or energy law are considered a plus.

Experience

A minimum of five to seven years of experience in contract analysis, negotiation, or legal advisory within the oil and gas sector is required. Prior experience working in Sudan or other emerging markets will be highly valued.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of 150,000 SSP to 250,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and allowances may also be part of the total compensation package.
