Job Overview

The Mining Operations Supervisor will be based in Nyala, a key hub for mineral exploration in South Darfur. Reporting to the Mine Manager, the supervisor will oversee daily mining activities, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and drive operational efficiency across the site. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on‑site mining operations, including drilling, blasting, loading and haulage.
• Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed daily output goals.
• Enforce strict health, safety and environmental standards, conducting regular inspections and safety briefings.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors, ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled and performance standards are met.
• Collaborate with the geology team to interpret ore body data and adjust mining plans accordingly.
• Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and risk assessments.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and lower operational costs.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all mining activities, equipment usage and maintenance records.

Required Skills

Education

Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience in underground or open‑pit mining operations, with at least two years in a supervisory or lead role. Salary
