Job Overview

Omdurman International School is seeking an experienced Teacher with 3–5 years of classroom experience in Omdurman. The teacher will deliver lessons, assess student progress, and foster a positive and stimulating learning environment.

The role emphasizes modern teaching strategies, technology integration, and the holistic development of students.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons and instructional plans.

Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and class participation.

Provide individual academic support and mentoring for students.

Maintain classroom discipline and a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Integrate digital tools and educational technology into teaching.

Participate in school workshops, parent-teacher meetings, and academic events.

Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum development and school programs.

Support extracurricular activities including sports, arts, and clubs.

Prepare academic reports and give constructive feedback.

Promote critical thinking, creativity, and holistic education.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant field

3–5 years teaching experience

Knowledge of modern pedagogy, assessment techniques, and classroom management

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to integrate innovative teaching methods and technology

Annual Salary: Approximately SDG 36,000 – SDG 54,000 per year
