Job Overview
KPMG Sudan seeks a Digital Forensics Analyst to join its Cybersecurity Services team in El Fasher. This role involves investigating cyber incidents, recovering digital evidence, and providing expert analysis to support legal and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct digital forensic investigations to identify, preserve, and analyze electronic evidence from cyberattacks or data breaches.
- Recover deleted or hidden data from computers, servers, and mobile devices using specialized forensic tools.
- Prepare detailed reports and expert testimony for legal proceedings or internal audits.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and legal teams to support criminal investigations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance organizational cybersecurity defenses.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in digital forensics, incident response, or cybersecurity analysis.
- Proficiency in forensic software (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
- Certifications such as Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) or GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in cybersecurity are advantageous.
Experience
3-5 years of hands-on experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, or a related field. Experience in a professional services or consulting environment is preferred.
Salary
120,000 – 180,000 Sudanese Pounds (SSP) annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
