The Senior Cybersecurity Forensic Investigator will play a pivotal role in our regional security operations center. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end digital forensic investigations into complex security breaches and unauthorized intrusions.
- Perform deep-dive memory, disk, and network forensics to reconstruct attacker methodologies.
- Collaborate with global threat intelligence teams to identify and neutralize advanced persistent threats (APTs).
- Develop and implement advanced forensic methodologies to improve detection capabilities.
- Provide expert technical reports and briefings to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior forensic analysts and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, or Magnet AXIOM.
- Deep understanding of malware analysis and reverse engineering techniques.
- Expertise in network protocol analysis and traffic reconstruction.
- Strong ability to interpret complex log data from diverse operating systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure situations.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills for reporting findings.
Education
A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or a closely related field is required. Candidates with specialized certifications such as GCFA, GCFE, or CHFI will be given significant preference during the selection process.
Experience
A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with at least 4 years specifically focused on digital forensics and incident response (DFIR). Proven track record of managing large-scale security investigations in enterprise environments is essential. Salary
