Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for telecom network infrastructure.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and penetration testing on network components.
• Design and implement firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure VPN solutions.
• Monitor security events, respond to incidents, and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with network engineers to integrate security controls into new deployments and upgrades.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of security architectures, configurations, and incident reports.
• Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams on security best practices.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF) and security technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation of security tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.

Education
