Job Overview

The Network Deployment Engineer will play a pivotal role in planning, designing, and implementing Huawei’s telecom solutions across Shendi and surrounding regions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end network deployment projects, from site surveys and design validation to installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with local operators and contractors to ensure compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
• Configure and optimize radio access network (RAN) equipment, including 4G LTE and 5G base stations, to achieve performance targets.
• Perform on‑site troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and corrective actions to minimize service disruptions.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, as‑built documentation, and handover packages for client acceptance.
• Support capacity planning and network expansion strategies by providing technical recommendations based on field data.
• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and mentor junior engineers to build local expertise.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Huawei network equipment (e.g., eNodeB, gNodeB, O&M tools).
• Strong understanding of RF planning, microwave backhaul, and fiber optic technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to travel frequently to remote sites across Shendi and neighboring governorates.
• Familiarity with local regulatory requirements and safety standards.

Education

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Advanced certifications such as Huawei Certified Network Professional (HCNP) or equivalent are highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset during the selection process.

Experience

A minimum of three to five years of hands‑on experience in telecom network deployment, preferably with exposure to 4G/5G technologies, is required. Candidates who have previously worked on large‑scale infrastructure projects in Africa or emerging markets will have a competitive edge.
