Job Overview
The Network Planning Engineer will be responsible for designing, optimizing and expanding Orange Sudan’s radio access network (RAN) to ensure high‑quality service delivery across Al‑Ubayyid and surrounding regions. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including RF, transmission, and operations, to develop strategic network plans, conduct capacity forecasting, and implement technology upgrades. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed network planning models for LTE and 5G deployments.
- Perform capacity analysis, traffic forecasting, and coverage simulations to guide infrastructure investments.
- Collaborate with RF engineers to design optimal antenna configurations and site layouts.
- Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, and rollout schedules for new sites.
- Coordinate with the transmission team to ensure backhaul readiness and integration.
- Monitor network performance metrics and recommend optimization measures.
- Support regulatory compliance by preparing documentation for spectrum licensing and reporting.
- Participate in project reviews, risk assessments, and stakeholder meetings to align network plans with business objectives.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in network planning tools such as Atoll, Planet, or Mentum.
- Strong knowledge of LTE, 5G NR, and radio frequency principles.

Education

Salary
