Job Overview
The Aerospace Structures Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and validating aircraft structural components for Airbus projects operating in the African market. Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed structural designs for aircraft components using CATIA, NX, or similar CAD tools.
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) to assess stress, fatigue, and vibration characteristics.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure design for manufacturability and assembly.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, test plans, and certification dossiers.
- Support prototype testing, data collection, and result interpretation.
- Ensure compliance with international aviation standards such as EASA and FAA, as well as local Sudanese aviation regulations.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge‑sharing sessions within the Zalingei office.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, Siemens NX, or SolidWorks).
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis methods and FEA tools (ANSYS, NASTRAN).
- Understanding of aerospace materials, composites, and metal alloys.

- Effective communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.

Education
