Job Overview

We are seeking a highly visionary Chief Architect to lead our design department in Kassala. This role is critical for our upcoming large-scale infrastructure and urban redevelopment projects in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire architectural design process, from initial concept to final construction documentation. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of architects, urban planners, and engineers to deliver world-class designs that meet international standards while respecting local cultural contexts. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual design and development of large-scale urban and commercial projects.

• Ensure all designs comply with local Sudanese building codes and international sustainability standards.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders, government officials, and private clients.

• Manage project timelines and design budgets to ensure efficient delivery.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in BIM software (Revit, ArchiCAD) and AutoCAD.
• Expertise in sustainable design principles and green building certifications (LEED/BREEAM).
• Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities for design teams.
• Exceptional spatial reasoning and visual communication skills.
• Deep understanding of urban planning regulations and infrastructure integration.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic for technical documentation and client meetings.

Education

A Master’s degree in Architecture or Urban Design is mandatory. Candidates must possess professional accreditation from a recognized international or national architectural board.

Experience

A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architectural design, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or management role within a large-scale consultancy firm.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 850,000 SSP to 1,200,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical expertise. This is a competitive package designed to attract the best talent in the industry.
