Job Overview

The Construction Project Controls Engineer will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and reporting on the cost, schedule, and performance metrics of large‑scale construction projects in Kosti and surrounding regions. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors, you will develop and implement robust control systems that ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Generate regular performance reports, including earned value analysis, to inform senior management.
  • Coordinate with procurement and contract teams to track change orders and assess financial impacts.
  • Implement risk management strategies and maintain a risk register for each project.
  • Facilitate weekly project control meetings, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with Arab Contractors’ quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in project scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost control tools.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data accuracy and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting to multi‑disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Sudanese construction regulations and international best practices.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI‑ACP, or a Certified Cost Engineer designation are highly desirable and will be considered an asset during the selection process.

Salary
