Job Overview
As a Digital Health Systems Coordinator, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of digital health platforms that streamline medical data management, telemedicine services, and health monitoring systems. This role is critical to WHO Sudan’s mission to enhance healthcare accessibility in conflict-affected and rural areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage digital health platforms for patient data tracking, teleconsultations, and medical supply chain logistics.
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers to identify technological needs and implement scalable solutions.
- Train medical staff on the use of digital tools and ensure system compliance with international health standards.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain uninterrupted service delivery.
- Conduct research on emerging health technologies and recommend innovations for adoption.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in health information systems (HIS) and electronic medical records (EMR) software.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) in healthcare settings.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating system efficiency and user feedback.
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of Sudanese healthcare policies and digital infrastructure challenges.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Computer Science, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred but not required.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in digital health systems implementation, preferably in low-resource environments.
- Proven track record in managing end-to-end technology projects in healthcare.
Salary
500,000 – 800,000 Sudanese Pounds (SSP) per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
