Job Overview

Pearson Sudan is seeking a skilled E-Learning Platform Developer to design, implement, and optimize digital learning solutions for K-12 and higher education institutions. This role involves collaborating with instructional designers, software engineers, and educators to create interactive, scalable, and user-friendly e-learning platforms that align with national curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain e-learning platforms using LMS (Learning Management System) tools like Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to integrate multimedia content, assessments, and gamification elements into digital curricula.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback from educators and students to improve platform functionality.
• Ensure platforms comply with accessibility standards and are compatible with low-bandwidth environments.
• Provide technical support and training to teachers and administrators on platform usage.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in web development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and LMS customization.
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate).
• Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and digital learning trends.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Education Technology, or related field. A Master’s Degree in Educational Technology or Digital Learning is a plus.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in e-learning platform development, preferably in an educational technology context. Experience working in emerging markets is highly advantageous.

Salary

150,000 – 250,000 Sudanese Pounds (SSP) per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
