Job Summary
Omdurman Teaching Hospital is seeking a Hospital Administrative Assistant to support daily administrative and operational activities across various departments. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare or hospital environment, and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in ensuring smooth office operations, maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating schedules, and assisting hospital management with reporting and administrative processes. This role requires attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to supporting healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to hospital departments and management staff.
Maintain and update patient records, hospital files, and administrative documentation.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and schedules for hospital administrators and medical staff.
Prepare administrative reports, correspondence, and official documents.
Assist with hospital records management and data entry in digital systems.
Monitor office supplies and coordinate procurement of administrative materials.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and administrative procedures.
Support HR functions including employee documentation, attendance records, and staff coordination.
Liaise with different hospital departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
Assist in organizing training sessions, hospital events, and administrative meetings.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of administrative or office management experience, preferably in healthcare or hospital environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management software.
Knowledge of hospital administrative procedures, records management, and regulatory compliance.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
