Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all Nestlé Sudan products meet stringent internal and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee product testing, audit processes, and corrective actions across the Rabak manufacturing facility. This position is central to maintaining consumer trust and supporting Nestlé’s commitment to delivering safe, high‑quality food. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and non‑routine product testing to verify compliance with quality specifications.
- Lead internal audits and support external regulatory inspections.
- Investigate deviations, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain and update quality documentation, including SOPs, batch records, and deviation reports.
- Collaborate with R&D to validate new product formulations and processes.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Monitor key quality metrics and generate reports for senior management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP, GFSI).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality tools (SPC, Six Sigma).
- Excellent problem‑solving and root‑cause investigation abilities.
- Effective communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Six Sigma Green Belt are highly desirable and will be considered an asset during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in quality assurance within a food manufacturing environment. Experience with regulatory compliance, audit management, and product release processes is essential. Prior exposure to multinational food companies is advantageous.
Salary
The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 150,000 to 250,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be provided.
