Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Renewable Energy Policy Analyst to join our team in El Geneina, Sudan. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and developing policies and strategies to promote the use of renewable energy in Sudan, as well as providing technical assistance to government agencies and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and develop policies and strategies to promote the use of renewable energy in Sudan
- Provide technical assistance to government agencies and other stakeholders on renewable energy policy and planning
- Conduct research and analysis on renewable energy technologies and their applications in Sudan
- Develop and implement training programs for government officials and other stakeholders on renewable energy policy and planning
- Collaborate with other UN agencies and development partners to promote the use of renewable energy in Sudan
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Energy Policy, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in renewable energy policy and planning
- Excellent analytical and writing skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other stakeholders
- Fluency in English and Arabic
