Job Overview:Our Senior Geophysics Research Scientist will be responsible for leading research projects in geophysics, with a focus on seismic imaging and reservoir characterization. You will work closely with our exploration team to develop and apply new geophysical technologies to improve our understanding of the subsurface. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior researchers and contributing to the development of our geophysics research strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead research projects in geophysics, with a focus on seismic imaging and reservoir characterization
- Develop and apply new geophysical technologies to improve our understanding of the subsurface
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the development of our geophysics research strategy
- Collaborate with our exploration team to develop and apply new geophysical technologies
- Present research results at international conferences and publish in leading scientific journals
Required Skills:
- Ph.D. in Geophysics or a related field
- 8-12 years of experience in geophysics research, with a focus on seismic imaging and reservoir characterization
- Strong knowledge of geophysical technologies and their applications in the oil and gas industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education:
- Ph.D. in Geophysics or a related field
- Master’s degree in Geophysics or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics or a related field
Experience:
- 8-12 years of experience in geophysics research, with a focus on seismic imaging and reservoir characterization
- 5-7 years of experience in geophysics research, with a focus on seismic imaging and reservoir characterization
- 2-5 years of experience in geophysics research, with a focus on seismic imaging and reservoir characterization
Salary:SSP 50,000 – 70,000 per month
