Job Overview
This role is pivotal in managing end-to-end wind energy projects in Sudan, from feasibility studies to commissioning. The position requires collaboration with government agencies, local communities, and international stakeholders to ensure alignment with national energy goals. Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical and financial feasibility studies for wind energy projects
- Coordinate with local authorities for permits and regulatory compliance
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Conduct site assessments and environmental impact analyses
- Engage with communities to address concerns and build partnerships
- Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to safety standards
Required Skills
- Proven experience in wind energy project management
- Strong understanding of Sudan’s energy sector regulations
- Excellent stakeholder negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
- Technical knowledge of wind turbine systems and grid integration
- Fluency in English and Arabic
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Renewable Energy
- Master’s Degree preferred but not mandatory
Experience

- Experience in Sudan’s energy sector or neighboring regions

Salary
