Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Restoration Specialist to join our team in El Daein, Sudan. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing restoration projects in the region, working closely with local communities and stakeholders to achieve our conservation goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement restoration projects in the region, including wetland restoration, reforestation, and habitat restoration
  • Work closely with local communities and stakeholders to achieve our conservation goals
  • Conduct field assessments and monitoring to evaluate the effectiveness of restoration projects
  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans to track the success of restoration projects
  • Collaborate with other conservation organizations and government agencies to leverage resources and expertise

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in environmental conservation and restoration
  • Strong knowledge of restoration ecology and conservation biology
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Education

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is an asset.

Experience

The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in environmental conservation and restoration. Experience working in a developing country is an asset.

Salary

The salary for this position is SSP 30,000 – 60,000 per month, depending on experience.
