Job Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Sustainable Livestock Development Officer to join our team in Damazin, Sudan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of sustainable livestock development programs in the region, and will work closely with local stakeholders, including farmers, pastoralists, and government officials.

The position will involve a range of activities, including program design and implementation, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of sustainable livestock development programs in the region
  • Work closely with local stakeholders, including farmers, pastoralists, and government officials
  • Design and implement capacity building programs for local stakeholders
  • Monitor and evaluate program progress and impact
  • Develop and manage project budgets and resources

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Animal Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in sustainable livestock development or a related field
  • Proven track record of leading program development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
