Job Overview
The Program Officer will support the design, implementation, and monitoring of UNDP’s development projects in South Darfur, with a focus on livelihood improvement and community resilience. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, logical frameworks, and work plans.

Education
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management, gender studies, or climate adaptation are considered a strong asset.
Experience
Applicants should have 3‑5 years of relevant experience in development programming, preferably with international NGOs, UN agencies, or donor‑funded projects. Experience in South Darfur or similar conflict‑affected settings is highly desirable.
Salary
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from SSP 150,000 to SSP 250,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary is paid in Sudanese Pounds and includes statutory benefits.
