Job Overview

The Civil Infrastructure Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multi‑million‑dollar construction projects in Gedaref and surrounding regions. Reporting to the Regional Director of Construction, the incumbent will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for civil infrastructure initiatives, including roads, bridges, and water treatment facilities.
• Lead cross‑functional teams of engineers, contractors, and consultants, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor project progress, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies to address schedule delays or cost overruns.
• Maintain compliance with Sudanese construction codes, environmental regulations, and Bechtel’s internal safety standards.
• Coordinate procurement activities, negotiate contracts with vendors, and oversee material logistics to ensure timely delivery.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in managing large‑scale civil infrastructure projects from conception to handover.

Education

Experience
