Job Overview
The Cybersecurity Analyst will be a key member of the Security Operations Center (SOC) based in Port Sudan. The analyst will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, conduct threat hunting, and ensure compliance with international security standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the analyst will help design and implement security controls, perform vulnerability assessments, and provide actionable intelligence to mitigate risks. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk.

- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with IT, network, and application teams to implement security controls and patches.
- Provide threat intelligence reports and recommend proactive defense measures.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards, preparing audit documentation as needed.
- Participate in on‑call rotation to provide 24/7 coverage for critical systems.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms, especially Microsoft Sentinel.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Understanding of cloud security concepts, particularly Azure security services.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for reporting findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced SOC environment.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline is required. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or threat analysis. Prior experience in a multinational technology firm or a government‑focused security role is beneficial, but not mandatory.
Salary
