Job Overview
KPMG Sudan is seeking a Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist to lead initiatives in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks across diverse industries. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with international cybersecurity standards while safeguarding client data and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity frameworks aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design incident response plans and business continuity strategies.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance and data protection requirements.
- Deliver training programs to enhance organizational awareness of cybersecurity best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in cybersecurity risk management and compliance auditing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing software.
- Experience in conducting third-party risk assessments and vendor security evaluations.
Education
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are highly advantageous.
Experience
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity risk management, preferably within a consulting or compliance role. Experience in the public or private sector in Sudan is a plus.
Salary
150,000 – 250,000 Sudanese Pounds (SSP) per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
