Job Overview
The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager will lead Nestlé Sudan’s EHS strategy, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international best practices. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive EHS policies aligned with Sudanese law and Nestlé’s global standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and reporting to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate emergency response plans, drills, and training sessions for all staff.
- Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, and resource consumption.
- Provide guidance on safe handling of chemicals, machinery, and equipment.
- Prepare and present EHS performance metrics to senior management.
- Promote continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies applied to safety processes.

- Proficiency in ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and Nestlé’s internal EHS frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

- Experience with incident management software and data analytics tools.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or ISO Lead Auditor are highly desirable and will be considered an asset during the selection process.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have 5‑7 years of progressive experience in EHS roles within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage sector. Demonstrated success in leading safety culture initiatives and managing regulatory compliance projects is essential.
Salary
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from SSP 150,000 to SSP 250,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with performance‑based bonuses.
