Job Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Hospitality Revenue Manager to lead our revenue optimization efforts. This critical role is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue through sophisticated pricing strategies, inventory management, and market analysis. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of revenue management, including distribution channels, demand forecasting, and competitive benchmarking. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing departments to ensure that our pricing structures align with our brand identity while maximizing profitability across all segments. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to optimize ADR (Average Daily Rate) and RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room).
• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and historical data to forecast demand and adjust pricing dynamically.
• Manage distribution channels including OTAs, GDS, and direct booking engines to ensure rate parity and inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to design promotional campaigns and seasonal pricing strategies.
• Provide detailed weekly and monthly revenue reports to the General Manager and regional stakeholders.
• Monitor market shifts and competitor movements to identify new revenue streams and mitigate risks.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in revenue management software and Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate across multiple departments.
• In-depth knowledge of the hospitality market in East Africa and international tourism trends.
• Expertise in Excel and data visualization tools for complex reporting.

Education

A Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field is required. A Bachelor’s degree with significant industry experience may be considered.

Experience

A minimum of 7 years of experience in revenue management within a luxury hotel environment is essential. Proven track record of increasing profitability and managing complex distribution networks is highly preferred.

Salary
