Job Overview
This role focuses on optimizing supply chain operations while integrating environmental sustainability standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that reduce emissions, enhance resource efficiency, and ensure compliance with international sustainability frameworks. The position is based in El Fasher, a strategic hub for regional trade and humanitarian logistics in Sudan.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement sustainability metrics for supply chain operations
- Conduct lifecycle assessments of logistics processes to identify environmental impacts
- Develop partnerships with local and international stakeholders to promote green supply chain initiatives
- Monitor and report on carbon footprint reduction progress
- Provide training to staff on sustainable procurement and transportation practices
Required Skills
- Proficiency in supply chain sustainability software (e.g., EcoVadis, Carbon Trust)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and other environmental management standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Fluency in English and Arabic
Education

Salary
