Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement sustainable packaging solutions aligned with global environmental standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source biodegradable or recyclable materials.
• Optimize logistics routes to reduce carbon emissions and fuel consumption.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with local and international sustainability regulations.
• Develop training programs for staff on eco-friendly packaging and transportation practices.

Required Skills

• Expertise in life-cycle analysis of packaging materials.
• Proficiency in supply chain logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong project management skills with a track record of sustainability initiatives.
• Knowledge of Sudanese environmental regulations and waste management policies.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication abilities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Advanced certification in sustainability (e.g., LEED, CEP) is a plus.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in logistics, packaging innovation, or environmental compliance. Prior work in the beverage or consumer goods industry is preferred.

Salary

120,000 – 180,000 Sudanese Pounds (SSP) per year, commensurate with experience and performance.
