Job Overview:As a Sustainable Materials Innovation Specialist, you will be responsible for researching and developing new sustainable materials for our textile products. You will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure that our materials meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability. You will also be responsible for collaborating with suppliers to source sustainable materials and ensuring that our supply chain is environmentally responsible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and develop new sustainable materials for textile products
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure that materials meet quality and sustainability standards
- Source sustainable materials from suppliers and ensure that supply chain is environmentally responsible
- Develop and implement sustainable materials innovation strategies
- Conduct life cycle assessments and environmental impact analyses of materials
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Materials Science or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in sustainable materials innovation
- Strong knowledge of sustainable materials and their applications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
