Job Overview

We are seeking an Environmental Restoration Specialist to join our team in Abu Hambada, Sudan. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of environmental restoration projects in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and conservation, with experience in project management and team leadership. They will be able to work effectively with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.

The position will involve travel to project sites, as well as collaboration with colleagues and partners in the region and globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement environmental restoration projects in the region
  • Lead project teams and collaborate with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct field assessments and monitoring to evaluate project effectiveness
  • Develop and manage project budgets and timelines
  • Communicate project results and recommendations to stakeholders

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in environmental conservation and restoration
  • Strong project management and team leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
