The Marine Logistics Coordinator will oversee the coordination of vessel arrivals, cargo handling, and documentation for import and export shipments at the Port of Sudan. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel schedules, berth assignments, and cargo loading/unloading plans in collaboration with port authorities and terminal operators.
• Prepare and verify all shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and hazardous material certificates.
• Monitor cargo status using Maersk’s digital platforms, providing real‑time updates to customers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations, local customs laws, and safety standards.
• Resolve operational issues such as delays, cargo discrepancies, and equipment shortages promptly.
• Collaborate with inland transportation partners to arrange seamless door‑to‑door delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo movements, performance metrics, and cost analyses.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and recommending process enhancements.
• Participate in regular safety drills and emergency response exercises.
