Job Overview
The Senior Petroleum Geologist will play a pivotal role in our exploration and development programs in the Abu Hamad region. Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex seismic interpretation and geological modeling projects to identify new drilling targets.
- Integrate well logs, core data, and seismic surveys to create detailed 3D reservoir models.
- Collaborate with reservoir engineers to optimize production strategies and well placement.
- Supervise junior geologists and provide technical mentorship to the local team.
- Prepare and present technical reports for senior management and stakeholders regarding exploration success.
- Ensure all geological activities comply with international safety and environmental regulations.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Petrel, Kingdom, or similar seismic interpretation software.
- Expertise in structural geology and sequence stratigraphy.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex subsurface data sets.

- Ability to manage large-scale geological projects under tight deadlines.
Education
A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Geology, Geophysics, or a closely related Earth Science discipline is required. A PhD is highly preferred for this senior-level position.
Experience
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in petroleum geology, specifically within exploration and development environments. Proven track record of successful well placement and reservoir characterization in complex sedimentary basins is essential.
Salary
