Job Overview
This role focuses on designing and implementing sustainable agriculture projects in El Geneina, supporting smallholder farmers through innovative farming techniques, climate-smart practices, and market access initiatives. The position requires collaboration with local stakeholders, government agencies, and international partners to ensure long-term agricultural development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute agricultural training programs for local farmers.
- Conduct field assessments to identify community needs and project impact areas.
- Coordinate with suppliers and partners to distribute seeds, tools, and resources.
- Monitor and evaluate project outcomes using data-driven methodologies.
- Prepare reports for donors and stakeholders on project progress and challenges.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in agricultural development or rural project management.
- Strong understanding of sustainable farming practices and climate adaptation strategies.
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools (e.g., GIS, Excel).
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science, Environmental Studies, or Rural Development.
- Master’s Degree preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in agricultural development projects.
- Previous work in Sudan or neighboring regions is an advantage.
Salary
500,000 – 700,000 Sudanese Pounds (SSP) per month, depending on experience.

Working Environment
