Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement sustainable tourism strategies aligned with local and international environmental standards.
- Collaborate with communities, NGOs, and government agencies to develop tourism infrastructure with minimal ecological impact.
- Conduct feasibility studies for eco-tourism projects, including cultural heritage sites and wildlife reserves.
- Monitor tourism-related environmental impacts and recommend mitigation measures.
- Organize training programs for local stakeholders on sustainable tourism practices.
Required Skills
- Expertise in sustainable tourism frameworks (e.g., Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria).
- Strong project management and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Proficiency in GIS mapping for tourism planning.
- Experience in grant writing for international development projects.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred.

Salary
